Why "The Bathroom Diaries"?
Over the years, I have been privileged to travel to many countries throughout the world. I have accumulated some incredible memories and stories. My friends and family tell me that my best stories involve using a bathroom or a toilet – or what passes as such – and they have constantly encouraged me to publish them in a book. At their prodding, several years ago I started writing down my bathroom stories, as well as other wild adventures I've had while traveling. I don't, however, believe that I have the making of or skill to become a published author, so I have instead decided to share them via this website.
To date I have included several stories, and I will add others as I finish editing them or writing them. I hope you enjoy reading them as much I enjoyed experiencing them.
By the way, the photo above is a self-portrait I took in the bathroom (of course!) at the Scottish Rite Temple in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
So, before you start reading, I wanted to leave you with these words of wisdom: "Always go to the bathroom when you have a chance." (King George V)
